I listen all night for your step on the stair

Sometimes I feel that people take themselves way too seriously. Elitism is running rampant through society. It has been happening quite frequently in my industry ( Birth activism) and in the industry of those around me. A friend of mine (a highly respected Doula) is quitting due to the fact that she feels threatened by those around her. I know that you need to be a strong woman and stand up for what you believe in but you don’t have to be a bitch. What happened to women helping women? Get over yourself.
